Double Decker

Why do they put the number on the back of the bus too…

So they can rub in the fact that you've just missed it!

Or so you can check that you missed the correct bus...

They also try and trick you - About five of us saw the No.41 (which we were waiting for) heading our way, as it dissappeared behind a building before turning into hard interchage at Gun Wharf Quays, when it turned the corner it read Mo.18!

Funnily enough I was the only one to take notice of what the bus looked like not just the number (I think I'm becoming a bus geek!) and therfore rumbled the driver with his change and confusion!

Was fun yo watch the others still looking for the bus minutes later. I did eventually tell them it's changed number and five minutes later the next 41 bus turned up.

The driver has a switch that changes the number quickly if he sees unsavory characters waiting for his service.

What are you trying to say mister!

Its a city thing. If you've missed the 24, youve got 15 minutes to wait or you could get the 23 and get off at the traffic lights. Alternatively go to the next bus stop and get the 10. Easy really!!!

Umm yeah...sounds really easy TC.

Something like...Catching Gosport ferry to Portsmouth, then the London-Waterloo train on platform 3, then short ride on London underground. Catch a taxi to Heathrow, fly to Calais in France, catch ferry back to Dover, get train to Southampton, via Cosham, hop off at Cosham and walk the last five minutes to college!

Sounds like a fun route, might try it one day!
